Milana Yankovska

Milana Yankovska (Sculptor)

She was born in Kiev (Ukraine) in 1984.

She graduated from the Taras Shevchenko State Art School.

In 2002-2008, she studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Chair of Sculpture, the workshop of Vladimir Chepelik.

In 2007, she was awarded St. Andrew’s medal of international rating “Golden Fortune”, “The Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine for Faith and Loyalty” for the sculptural composition dedicated to the memory of the front rank firemen-heroes. The building of the State Inspectorate for Technogenic Safety of Ukraine (Co-author - Tykhonov).

In 2011, she was awarded “the honorary distinction of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine” and the order “For Humanity and Mercy” for the “Monument to the firemen-liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear accident” in Kiev, Kruglouniversitetskaya st., 20/1 (Co-author - Tykhonov).

She is the prize winner of the I All-Ukrainian competition “Art as an investment - 2011” according to the magazine “Banker” in the “Indoor sculpture” genre.

Author of the national award “Sports pride of Ukraine” in 2013.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Her works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Georgia, Russia, France, Germany, China, USA and, others.

She lives and works in Kiev.
